Closed Cell Backing Rod is compatible with all leading sealants, it delivers excellent rebound recovery. The round profile enables sealant to form the correct profile in order to deliver optimum movement and minimise the amount of sealant required.
The closed cell structure ensures no moisture is absorbed. Backing Rod is manufactured from high quality closed cell LDPE foam. It is suitable for horizontal and vertical joints, sealing of internal wall joints, draft proofing and sealing windows.
Backing Rod is available in a full range of diameters from 6mm to 60mm; 60mm is only available upon special request. Special sizes available on request for project quantities.
